Get up and running with Coachbase in under 10 minutes. This guide walks you through the core workflow — from first login to running a live session.
Navigate to your Coachbase instance and enter your coach credentials. Authentication is handled via Firebase — email and password. If you're a new coach joining an existing team, contact your team admin to receive an invitation email with a sign-up link.

From the Dashboard, use the athlete search bar to find an existing athlete or create a new profile. Every generated training session is tied to an athlete profile, so it's the first thing to set up.
Fill in the following when creating a new athlete:
Injury flags can be added later from the athlete's Influence Factors tab.
Navigate to the athlete profile and open the Programs tab. Click New Program and configure:
If your athlete has active injuries, add them to the Influence Factors tab before generating. The engine uses these flags to exclude or modify exercises automatically.
With a program configured, click Generate. The engine will:
Generation typically takes a few seconds. Individual sessions can be regenerated or manually edited at any time without affecting the rest of the program.
When an athlete is ready to train, open their profile and click Next Training. This shows the upcoming session in order. Click to start the logging flow.

The difficulty score directly drives load progression in the next generated session. See Load Progression Logic for how ratings influence future sessions.
Results are stored at the set level. Navigate to any session in the athlete's program to see the full history of logged sets, loads, and difficulty ratings. The generation engine uses this data automatically — no manual input required for progression.
