Every athlete gets a training level from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest level. This level feeds into several places in the app to determine which exercises and trainings suit this athlete.
| Level | Criterion |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | Can't yet perform 8 deep squats. |
| Level 2 | Can perform 8 deep squats. |
| Level 3 | Can perform 8 deep squats with more than 10 kg. |
| Level 4 | Can perform 8 deep squats with more than 30 kg. |
| Level 5 | Can perform 8 deep squats with more than 30 kg, and can do at least 1 pull-up. |
You set an athlete's level on their athlete profile.
Every exercise in the library already has a default suitability per level: too heavy, too light, or good. So for a level 2 athlete, different exercises are automatically considered "good" than for a level 5 athlete. This filters straight into every automatic generation — see Exercises — Suitability per level.
For athletes who don't have any history yet, the app uses a fixed starter training that matches their level — see Trainings — Starter trainings for new athletes.
As with most default settings, you as a coach can always override the suitability of a specific exercise for a specific athlete — see Athletes — extra exercise preferences.
